See your website the way AI assistants see it.
TeraScan checks whether AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini can reach and read your website. It scores the site out of 100, explains every check in plain English and shows what to fix.
What it does
The kit
- 01
One score, five layers
A score out of 100 with a plain band, plus a score for each layer, so you see at a glance where you stand and where the points are lost.
- 02
Can AI crawlers get in?
Checks your robots.txt rules for the AI crawlers, including GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended, plus llms.txt, your sitemap, and any AI bots you block by accident.
- 03
Can they understand it?
Looks for the structured data AI answers rely on: attraction, event, business and FAQ schema, headings, titles, descriptions and image alt text. An AI model also reads your page and judges whether it answers real visitor questions.
- 04
Does the site let them in?
Fetches your site the way an AI agent does and checks for firewall challenges, slow responses, redirect chains and content that only appears with JavaScript.
- 05
Blocked? It says so
If a firewall or CDN turns the agent away, the report says so plainly, so a low score is put down to the block, not to your pages.
- 06
A full audit when you want depth
The full audit reads up to 25 pages and adds two layers: whether an agent sees the same content a browser does, and whether AI answers about your destination actually cite you.
- 07
Every check explained
Each check comes with a plain-English explanation and a "Fix" line, so the report can go straight to your web team.
- 08
A report to share
Download the scorecard as a PDF. The full audit adds a pack of ready-to-use files: robots.txt rules, llms.txt and schema examples matched to what failed.

Questions
TeraScan, answered.
What is TeraScan?
TeraScan is the AI-readiness check of the Tera ecosystem. It tests whether AI assistants can reach and read your website, scores it out of 100 and tells you, check by check, what to fix.
Which AI assistants does it cover?
It checks your rules for the crawlers behind ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini (Google-Extended), Common Crawl and Apple, and fetches your site the way an AI agent does. The answer and citation checks use an AI model to read your pages.
How do we get a scan?
Send us your website address. We review the request and email you a private link to your scorecard.
What is the difference between a scan and a full audit?
A scan reads your homepage and covers three layers: crawler access, understanding and agent access. The full audit reads up to 25 pages and adds two more: what an agent actually sees, and whether AI answers cite you.
Does TeraScan change our website?
No. It only reads your public pages. It tells you what to change, and the full audit gives you files your web team can use.
Our site looks great. Why is our score low?
Often because a firewall or CDN blocks AI agents before they see anything. When that happens the report says so, so you know the fix is a setting, not a redesign.
