Personalize · Digital Luggage

A bag for everything a visitor wants to keep.

Digital Luggage is the visitor’s personal bag on your maps, 360 tours and itineraries. Visitors save places, events and scenes as they explore, then keep the list with a code and share it with travel companions or a planner.

What it does

The kit

  • 01

    Save as you explore

Visitors save places, listings, events, 360 scenes and their own drawings while they use a map, a 360 tour or an itinerary.

  • 02

    No account needed

The bag works anonymously in the browser. Visitors who want to keep it add a name and email.

  • 03

    A code for every list

Saving a list gives it a short code, emailed to the visitor. The code opens the list on another device, or brings a copy to another map or tour.

  • 04

    Share with companions

Share a list as a public page with places, scenes and events, and let others save a copy to their own bag.

  • 05

    Plan together, or alone

Choose "Only me" to keep editing to yourself, or "Whoever has the code" so companions can add to the same list.

  • 06

    Get it back by email

Visitors can retrieve their lists on a new device with a link sent to their email.

  • 07

    Your brand and your rules

Set the logo, background and icons, the maximum number of items, whether sharing is on, and whether shared lists need your approval.

  • 08

    See what visitors keep

A dashboard shows lists, items by kind, where lists start, the most-saved places, shares and copies.

Who uses it

Planners save halls, hotels and restaurants and send the list to their committee with one code.

  • Luxury Hotels →

Guests save the concierge’s recommendations from your map and take them on their phone.

Questions

Digital Luggage, answered.

What is Digital Luggage?

Digital Luggage is the visitor’s personal bag in the Tera ecosystem. It saves places, events and scenes from your maps, 360 tours and itineraries, and lets visitors keep and share the list.

Do visitors need an account?

No. It works anonymously in the browser. To keep a list, a visitor adds a name and email and gets a code.

Why does each map have its own list?

Maps are often built for one event, so each map, tour and itinerary keeps its own list. A code brings a copy of a list from one to another.

Can visitors share their list?

Yes. They can share the code, or publish the list as a page that others can view and copy. You can require approval for shared lists.

Can we turn it off?

Yes. Digital Luggage can be switched on or off for the destination, for each itinerary and for each map.
